OUR VINEYARDS
100 hectares (247 acres). 1,100 metres above sea-level. A clay-loamy soil with an abundance of pebbles -the perfect terroir for Pago Guijoso. Nature is all around. The climate is extreme with wide swings of temperature between day and night, as well as between the different seasons of the year.
Each season plays its part in the vine cycle of our old-vine vineyard, helping the grapes to achieve excellent levels of ripeness. The Pago Guijoso vines are located on the boundaries of the Parque Natural de las Lagunas de Ruidera, amidst a natural environment bursting with life. It provides the perfect conditions for our different grape varieties: Tempranillo, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Grenache, and Petit Verdot. ‘La Sabina’ • ‘El Beso’ • ‘La Doncella’
All of these grapes have their own particular soul. All of them carry the Pago Guijoso Designation of OriginThey are packed with flavour, aromas, texture and character.
The wines bear their very own Designation of Origin.
